Harrison's 3rd birthday party Part 2!

We celebrated Harrison's 3rd birthday with his Nana and Papa, Aunt Tari, Uncle Rick, Abbie, Regan, Ethan and Lauren on Sunday Feb 14, 2010. We had a great time and of course Harrison got a lot of great new toys! I also made a cake that had crushed up peanut butter cups for the middle layer of a vanilla cake with chocolate peanut butter frosting. It was really good!

Harrison got some awesome toys that he is enjoying. He loves the 2 puzzles he got from his Nana and Papa as well as a pegboard and Toy Story book with magnadoodle. We have put together the 2 puzzles over and over again all day today! From his Aunt Tari and Uncle Rick he got a Diego rescue pack that has flares that shoot up, which of course he loves! He also got a magnetic puzzle that he has had fun playing with so far that goes with a head, shoulders, knees and toes book.

He of course has more toys than he knows what to do with! He had so much fun playing with his cousins at his bday party and had so much fun with Aunt Tari putting together his farm animal puzzle.

Overall, he had a great 3rd birthday with 2 parties! What's better than that?!

Harrison turns 3

Harrison turned 3 years old yesterday. He is getting so big! We had a small party with my side of the family, Aunt Vanessa, Aunt Amanda, Uncle Tony, Abby and Ainsley. Unfortunately Nana wasn't able to come. We are having another party with Nana, Papa, Aunt Tari, Uncle Rick, Abbie, Regan, Ethan and Lauren next Sunday.

Harrison received lots of cool new toys! His favorite is his Woody doll he got from Nana! He also got a helicopter, playdoh, football play set, hot wheels loop track. A Horton Hears a Who movie and a really cool dinosaur from mom and dad that he doesn't think is all that cool!

Since his birthday fell on superbowl Sunday this year, we had a few more guests that afternoon for the game. We had so much fun playing with playdoh and the hot wheels track before the game and played with the football game! We had lots of great food and I made my famous birthday cake from a box! Overall, it was a great day and we had lots of fun!

I almost forgot to mention that Harrison did not want to have cake and ran and hid when we started to sing Happy Birthday! He just wanted to open presents. So, finally, we got to present opening and all was good!
